Recommendations for filling in the customs declaration:
- The declaration is filled in in English only. Do not write the names of items as Russian words in Latin letters (shorti, yubka...). Example of correct entries: shorts, skirt.
For declarations for Express shipments the rules are different: the declaration must be filled in in Russian.
- Item names should be short, without extra details (colour, article number, fabric composition). There is no need to copy the store invoice.
- Try to use different names for items.
For example, a T-shirt can be called: tee, top, tee-shirt, long sleeve top, short sleeve top, tank, tunic, polo...
- If you have several identical items from different stores, it is better to combine them into one line.
For example, you have 1 umbrella from store A for $10, 1 umbrella from store B for $15, and 1 umbrella from store C for $20. In the declaration write:
Name: Umbrella
Quantity: 3
Value: $45.
- It is considered better not to ship more than 5 identical items in one parcel.
If you have 10 T-shirts, do not write "Tee - 10" in the declaration; write, for example, "Tee - 5", "Top - 5".
- Jewellery is allowed for shipping.
Based on our experience, when shipping jewellery we recommend not labelling it in the declaration as "jewelry" but writing specifically: "bracelet", "earrings"...
- The declaration is filled in in US dollars
