Choosing a Reliable Suitcase

What item do you need first when getting ready for a vacation? A suitcase!

It’s important to approach the purchase responsibly: a good suitcase will last for many years and keep your luggage safe. Don’t be stingy — choose carefully, and the expense will be worth it.

But you still can — and should — save money on a purchase like this! In the US, it’s easy to buy a high-quality suitcase with a big discount.

Where to find your perfect suitcase and save money:

• Amazon.com
• ebay.com
• 6pm.com
• Macys.com
• irvsluggage.com
• ebags.com
• newegg.com
• luggagefactory.com
• samsonite.com
• americantourister.com

We recommend paying attention to these brands: SwissGear, Delsey, Tumi, American Traveler , Samsonite.

But how do you choose one that is truly convenient and reliable?

Choosing the material:

Fabric suitcases are usually cheaper, but they have external pockets where you can keep various small items.
Plastic ones are more durable and easier to clean. A hard shell will better protect your belongings.

 Choosing the size:

a compact suitcase for a short trip for one person, or a large one for a family vacation.

Wheels:

Small suitcases usually have two wheels. For larger models, the best option is a four-wheel suitcase with double wheels or rear wheels with a larger diameter. On uneven surfaces, such a suitcase can be tilted and rolled on two wheels.

For trips that involve shopping, an expandable suitcase will be convenient: these are usually fabric models.

It’s convenient to buy a set right away — suitcases and bags in one design and color, but in different sizes. Such sets are stored “like nesting dolls,” one inside another. And shipping a set from the US is more cost-effective than sending individual parcels.
