Instructions: how to split an incoming order into several parts

When do you need to split one order into several?

• if you bought goods in one store for an amount exceeding the duty-free customs limit (for Russia it is 200 euros per parcel).
• if you need to ship part of the goods from the order to another recipient

How does it work?

• You create 2 or more new orders and include in them the goods from the original order
• you include each split order in a separate parcel
• you ship each parcel to a new recipient

Now the step-by-step instructions: how to split an order into parts.

 Here is your order that needs to be split:

 Click the "Edit" icon

In the order that opens, tick the service "Splitting incoming orders into 2 or more separate parcels, $5 for each separated part" and save the changes. Even if you are on the SP rate, the service must be ticked. On the SP rate, splitting into up to 5 parts is free

Next, create a new order and fill in the fields:

• in the order name enter  "part 1"
• in the tracker enter the tracking number of the original order with the prefix 1
• add part of the goods from the original order to the order
• it is important to start the description of the goods with the number of the original order; this will make it easier to find the goods at the warehouse
• in the comment field indicate which order needs to be split:

• save the changes

Create as many orders as the number of parts the order needs to be split into

Each part you create for splitting must be numbered with the corresponding prefix: -2, -3, -4

After that, new orders will appear in your order list, like this:

Next, in the "Messages" section, write a request to split the order: "Please split order No. (enter the order number) into 2 parts"

After the order has been split into  the corresponding parts, the manager will change  the order statuses: parts 1 and 2 will get the "in warehouse" status, and the original order will get the "Order split" status.
