The Canadian company Native was founded not that long ago — in 2009, but it has already gained worldwide popularity thanks to its innovative approach to making EVA shoes.
This is an artificial material — ethylene vinyl acetate, similar in properties to polyethylene, but more resilient and stronger. Visually, it looks like hardened foam and has a fine-pored structure. It is also called something between rubber and plastic.

EVA does not lose its properties when the temperature changes and remains just as flexible; it has good thermal insulation characteristics, low water absorption and buoyancy, and is easy to clean when dirty. It is made using antibacterial agents, so this footwear is safe to wear. Textile is used as the lining in insulated models.
